What this covers

Akontec facilitates participation in specific, identified business opportunities within its own group and client network — most commonly BPO delivery centre setups and franchise units. It is not a fund, not a scheme, and not a securities offering.

Absolute rules for every investment conversation

1. No returns are guaranteed. Ever. Not verbally, not "typically", not "our other investors are getting".
2. No specific percentage return may be quoted unless it is a contractual term in an executed written agreement, and even then it is stated as a contractual entitlement, not a projection.
3. No pooling. Akontec does not accept money into a pool for deployment at its discretion. Every rupee is tied to a specific identified asset or unit.
4. Written documentation before any money moves. Nine mandatory written terms are listed in 03_Business_Catalogs/07_Investment_Opportunity_Catalog.md.
5. Independent advice is recommended in writing in every investment document we issue.
6. AI agents do not close investment conversations. They capture the enquiry and hand off to a named human. See 26_Conversation_Flows/06_Flow_Investor_Enquiry.md.
7. Risk is stated before opportunity, in every document and every conversation.

Who this is not for

Anyone who needs the capital back on a fixed date · anyone who cannot afford to lose the amount · anyone seeking a fixed-income substitute · anyone who has not read the risk section. We say this out loud. An investor who was misled is a worse outcome for Akontec than an investor we never signed.
