2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate the Portal and verify BPO partners:

2.1 Account information

• Username, email address, password (stored hashed using PBKDF2/scrypt)
• Full name, company name (optional), phone number (optional)
• Account creation timestamp, last sign-in time, IP address of each sign-in

2.2 KYC documents

• Identity proofs (Aadhaar, PAN), company proofs (GST certificate, company registration), and financial proofs (cancelled cheque, bank statement) you upload for partner verification
• Status and admin notes on each document

2.3 Application & transaction data

• Project applications you submit, callback requests, project unlock history
• Invoices issued to you and payment records
• In-app notifications and bookmarks

2.4 Usage data

• An audit log of every meaningful action (sign-in, project view, document view, etc.) with timestamp and IP address — kept for security and compliance

3. How we use your information

• Service operation: deliver the Portal, verify your identity, process applications, generate invoices and receipts
• Communication: send transactional emails (verification, application status, invoices, receipts) and optional WhatsApp messages if you've provided a phone number
• Compliance: maintain records required under the Indian IT Act 2000, GST regulations, and our contractual obligations
• Security: detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Improvement: aggregated analytics to understand which projects perform well — we never use personal data for advertising

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your data. We only share it in these specific cases:

• With project providers: when you apply to a specific project, the project's commercial owner sees your application details. This is the core service.
• With service providers: our email and (optional) WhatsApp delivery providers process messages on our behalf under standard data-processing agreements
• Legal compliance: if compelled by law, court order, or government request
• Business transfer: if Archadia Blue is acquired or merged, your data may transfer — you'll be notified and given options

5. Data retention

• Active accounts: data kept while your account is active
• Closed accounts: we delete personal data within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law (GST records: 8 years; financial records: 8 years)
• Audit logs: retained for up to 3 years for security forensics

6. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access your data — use the "Download my data" button on your profile to export everything we hold about you as a ZIP archive
• Correct your data — edit your profile via the partner dashboard
• Delete your account — email support@akontec.com and we will close it within 7 business days
• Withdraw consent for optional communications (WhatsApp, marketing emails) — toggle in settings
• Complain — to us first, then to the relevant Indian data protection authority

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards:

• Encryption in transit (TLS) for all traffic
• Hashed passwords (never stored or transmitted in plain text)
• Server-side access controls and audit logging of every action
• Regular backups of database and KYC documents

No system is 100% secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours.

8. Cookies

We use cookies only for essential functions: keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences (dark mode, sound mute), and security (CSRF protection). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's privacy

The Portal is for verified business partners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify active accounts by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
