Diagnose before prescribing. Every engagement opens with data collection and floor-level observation — not a workshop. A recommendation built from a management interview alone describes the company management believes it runs.
One page of findings per week of work, maximum. Deliverables are operating documents people use, not decks that get filed.
Implementation is included or it isn't consulting. We stay through the first cycle of execution and report on whether the change worked.
Measured against a baseline agreed at kickoff. If we cannot measure it, we say so at the start rather than claiming credit later.
Project fee for defined scope, or monthly retainer for ongoing advisory with a stated day-count. Outcome-linked fees are considered only where the baseline is measurable, verifiable and controlled by the work — which is rarer than most proposals pretend.
