Investment FAQ

Updated 2026-08-06 · Akontec Synergy Private Limited

Read before answering anything on this page. Akontec is not a registered investment adviser or a deposit-taking institution. Nothing here is investment advice or an offer of securities. No representative may promise assured, guaranteed or fixed returns. See 15_Investment/04_Investor_Disclosures.md and 27_Guardrails/03_Restricted_Statements.md.

What kind of investment opportunities does Akontec offer? Three distinct things, which should never be confused: business partnership or franchise participation in an operating unit; project co-investment funding a specific campaign or centre setup; and equity investment into Akontec itself. Each is documented differently. Related: 15_Investment/02_Investment_Models.md

What returns can I expect? Business returns depend on trading results and are not guaranteed. We can share an illustrative model showing the assumptions behind a projection, and we will show you what happens if those assumptions do not hold. Any figure you see is an illustration, never a promise.

Is my capital safe? No business investment is safe in that sense. Capital can be partly or wholly lost. That statement is in every document we issue and we will not soften it.

What is the minimum investment? Structure-specific; stated in 15_Investment/02_Investment_Models.md. Do not quote a figure that is not in that document.

How and when are returns paid? Only as stated in the signed agreement: the revenue line it comes from, the costs deducted first, the frequency, and the first payment date. If any of those nine items in the checklist is missing, the arrangement is not offered.

How do I exit? Through the mechanism written into the agreement — notice period, valuation or buyback method, and transfer restrictions. There is no ready market for the interest; assume illiquidity.

Who holds the money? Funds move only to a company bank account against a signed agreement. Never to an individual's account, never in cash, and never before documentation is complete. Any request that deviates from this should be reported immediately.

Can I see financials? For equity discussions, yes, under NDA and at the appropriate stage. For unit-level structures, you receive the cost sheet, the business plan and the reporting defined in the agreement.

Are you regulated / registered for this? Akontec holds its corporate registrations (see 02_Legal/01_Statutory_Registrations.md). It does not hold, and does not claim, any licence to offer regulated investment products. Structures offered are commercial business arrangements, not financial products.

Will you advise me on whether to invest? No. We will explain the structure, show the assumptions and state the risks. We will also tell you, in writing, to have your own adviser review it before you commit. That instruction is part of our process, not a formality.

Is this like a fixed deposit? No. Do not let anyone compare it to one. Different risk, different protection, no guarantee.

Escalation: any investment enquiry beyond explaining the structures goes to the Director. Nobody else discusses commercial terms.
