Akontec holds both contracts. The client and the provider have no contract with each other, and the provider does not contact the client directly.

Why the middle exists

For the client: one accountable counterparty, redundancy across providers, quality governance, and someone whose job it is to fix a failing centre.

For the provider: a pipeline of campaigns without a sales cost, documented scope and payout before commitment, and predictable payment.

For Akontec: margin on the spread, plus the platform and AI layers that make each process cheaper to run over time.

The economics

Akontec earns either the spread between the client rate and the provider payout, or an explicit commission on a pass-through model, stated in the Work Order. Blended commission across the network runs around 20–25% depending on process mix.

The rule that protects the whole model: the provider payout is a cost, not a variable to squeeze. An underpaid provider staffs the campaign with its weakest team and the client pays for it in CSAT. Akontec deliberately rebuilt its payout structure upward for exactly this reason.

Provider tiers

TierCriteriaWhat they get
RegisteredKYC verified, agreement signedVisibility of project briefs
ActiveAt least one campaign delivered to standardRegular briefs, standard payouts
Preferred2+ campaigns, quality above threshold for 6 months, no compliance incidentFirst refusal on new campaigns, higher seat allocations, improved terms
StrategicMulti-campaign, multi-geography, consistently above thresholdStandby role on critical campaigns, joint capacity planning, best terms

Redundancy rule

Every campaign above ten seats has a second qualified provider on standby, with a defined switching trigger and a 24-hour resumption target. This is written into the client SOW, not just assumed internally.

Data isolation

Each provider works in its own workspace. A provider sees only its own campaigns, agents and data. No provider sees another's information, and no provider sees client data beyond its own scope. This is enforced in the platform, not by policy alone.

What the marketplace is not

It is not a listing directory. Akontec does not introduce a client to a centre and step away. If it did, the client would have bought nothing they could not have got from a search engine.
