Delete your account

You can delete your AKONTEC account and personal data at any time.

This page lets you permanently delete your AKONTEC account and the personal data associated with it. You can do it here, or email support@akontec.com from your registered address.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — name, email, phone, company and login credentials
• KYC documents you uploaded (ID, PAN, bank and company proofs)
• Your applications, messages, notifications and saved preferences

What we keep (and for how long)

• Invoices, payouts and tax records are retained only as long as Indian law requires (typically up to 8 years), then permanently deleted. These are kept de-identified from your login wherever possible.
• A minimal record that a deletion request was made, so we can prove the request was honoured.

How long it takes

If you are signed in, your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out. Your personal data is then permanently erased within 30 days.
